The chipmunk Acorn is well attuned to the finer points of art-making. When not busy at the bird feeder or gathering nuts for the winter, Acorn dons an apron and visualizes a creative masterpiece.

Lyell Castonguay designed, carved, and printed this original artwork. Ink is applied to a carved wooden block and hand-pressed onto a Japanese paper called Chiri. The artist signed and titled the artwork in pencil.
