Cedar Waxwings are voracious eaters, and their favorite food is berries. One season, my mother scrambled to pick all the strawberries in the family garden before the Waxwings ate them all! Her story inspired me to create this piece.
The paper is 12 x 9 inches. Here is a link to our favorite picture frame.
The artist applies ink to a hand-carved wooden block.
And presses it onto Japanese-made Chiri paper.
